We've been saying it for a while now, but Dissidia Final Fantasy looks bloody brilliant. The brawler, which features characters of all shapes and sizes from Square Enix's staple role-playing series, only exists as a Japanese arcade game at this point - but it's basically running on PlayStation 4 hardware.
In other words, the sooner that we get a confirmed console port, the happier we'll be. The title's latest character trailer focuses on Cloud Strife, showcasing the protagonist's powerful swings and devastating strength. Of course, Cloud was recently revealed as a downloadable fighter in Super Smash Bros., so it's safe to say that he's keeping himself busy these days.

That does look pretty awesome. Although I'd not be surprised if they go this way with FF7 Remakes combat, anyway, so I might just wait for that lol
I still fail to see why SE is not mentioning a PS4 release. It would sell like... instantly.
The character trailers all look good so far. I especially love the remixed music.

this looks good loved the first one.That music gets me soo hyped too. My biggest problem is how the turned cloud emo , (not that there's anything wrong with emo) It's just been over done , and thats not how I remember him being in the game. Even after he gets his real memories back. He had Zack Fairs awsome attitude, now he just seems mopey now. Hurts my childhood veiw of him and how people will react to him in the remake.

@BladeRider In Dissidia, it seemed like a bit of just "I don't care" Cloud instead of emo-AC Cloud. There wasn't really much of cocky Cloud like we were used to.
It's weird because Advent Children is what they've been pulling from for his attitude. That's fine and all in the context of the movie (although Advent Children Complete nearly completely changed that), but applying that Geostigma-influenced mindset to FFVII Cloud doesn't make sense.

Also clouds real personality didn't seem that bad in crisis core, And I hope the go with zacks personality in the remake at least till he gets his true memory back. I feel that would make for a better game or at least the "I don't care ima a major BA attitude " you mentioned from dissidia.

Why would cloud appear in a Nintendo game? He has no connection to them at all.
@hi_drnick well Theatrhythm Final Fantasy was on Nintendo and Cloud was in them not to mention some of the Kingdom Hearts are on Nintendo and he was in them too
i know when people think FFVII they think PlayStation but it's on PC as well and it's characters have been in other games on Nintendo
also that (Unofficial) Final Fantasy VII NES Remake
Cloud HAS been in games on Nintendo so he does have a connection however small

@FullbringIchigo fair point. Haven't owned a Nintendo system since the N64, so don't really know. My wife and kids have a GBA, DS and 3DS but I don't have that much time to play.
