It's nice to see the Rockstar editor being put to good use. Over on YouTube, user Pinkman has created a gritty Crash Bandicoot reboot using Grand Theft Auto V. In the clip, we see the 'coot smashing some human crates in order to grab some Wumpa Fruit, before indulging in some Crash Team Racing-esque high speed pursuits. This is a fun video, with extra points scored for the fake UI and sound effects.

Lol, that was kind of funny but we don't actually need a Crash game like that. Now if if Naughty Dog made a new Crash game that would be great. I don't see that happening though.

A proper Crash 4 (following on from the ps1 original trilogy) very much a yes!
Still would love a new Crash, but Half Life 3 will probably be out before Crash gets another chance.

Agreed with the above comments. Not every franchise needs a "gritty" makeover. A true reboot or sequel to crash from the ps1 days would be amazing though!
The ps2 iterations were lackluster after Warped. I'll let Crash be a good 90s memory. CTR and Bash need a PSN release tho!
I definitely wouldn't want Crash Bandicoot going down this route.
