Wow, these patches just seem to get bigger and bigger, don't they? When The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt initially launched, it took up around 29GB of our PlayStation 4's hard drive, but by the time that we've nabbed its latest update, that number's going to be closer to 50GB.

Ever-reliable CD Projekt Red community lead Marcin Momot has stated on Twitter that the role-playing release's upcoming update will weigh in at around 15GB on Sony's latest machine, so you'd best be prepared for a reasonably lengthy download session. To be fair, though, this new patch is so big that we couldn't even fit the notes into an article, so we suppose that we'll place our trust in the developer this time around. Plus, we'd imagine that this update will also consist of content from the title's first expansion, which is out next week. Or at least, at this size, we'd hope so.
