I really hope the game doesn't end on a sour note. I'm too attached to these characters, I'd be flooding my home for weeks!

Remember when we had the Uncharted DLC talk?

Killing off any of the characters wouldn't really go with how Uncharted has always been so if the current team making the game goes down that route I'll be a little disappointed. That kind of depressing ending would fit better with something dark and depressing like The Last of Us.

He'll seem to die. There'll be some cutscenes that enforce that idea. Maybe even a funeral for him. Then it will have the credits before we see a scene of him sitting on a beach somewhere and sipping a cocktail, stroking Sully's hair.

Nobody knows how it's going to end. We'll know for sure a month before the game comes out and people who have managed to get advanced copies decide to be jerks.

Maybe he will have a son and he'll continue the adventures. That's if Drake dies.
I trust Naughty Dog 100% with whatever they decide. It's not like Sony will allow this to be the last ever Uncharted game.

Last ever. Yeah, uh-uh. They also said not to expect Uncharted without him, even though they said previously it's the last in the series. So, despite previous comments, Naughty Dog only selectively gets tired of genres and series.

Honestly I hope it last Uncharted we see for a while, not because of any dislike of the series on my part but because I fear it might run into the ground. Uncharted has been amazing over the years and one of my favorite PlayStation franchises. Its earned a respectful rest.

Uncharted without Drake is Zelda without Link. It's not happening. Assuming this sells as well as it should, I fully expect the series to continue but it will not continue with Naughty Dog at the helm. They'll be onto The Last of Us and then I'm expecting something new after that because that's been the trend.

i really doubt they will kill off Drake, not in the MO of the game, although I can see Victor dying which would stink because he's awesome. Most likely Drake will probably sail off into the sunset with Elena and Victor. I would love to see another game with Drakes son or daughter one day as the main character.

Doesn't bother me hehe.. Got bored after the first Uncharted anyway.. Was too much like Tomb Raider.. 😝

@Gamer83 It's not quite the same since Link isn't really a specific character, it's just a name attached to a little elven guy. Also there have been Zelda games without Link, like that Tingle one and that Tetra one.
