We're not ashamed to admit that we've discovered many an enjoyable musician thanks to the varied licensed soundtracks that FIFA titles tend to employ. This year's edition, FIFA 16, boasts a total of 42 artists hailing from 15 different countries, and as always, we don't have a clue who most of them are.
Still, at least Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA, seems to understand our situation: "With FIFA 16, we've once again created a soundtrack that will enable millions of fans worldwide to discover new music they might have never heard otherwise." We're glad someone said it.

Okay, I know Beck, and I know... er...
I recognise a few of the names, but I don't actually know who they are.
Never heard of any of these songs, but I guarantee by next year I'll love at least 10 of them
@ShogunRok same boat here. I love Beck and like the Foals, and could probably recognise a tune or two by Bastille and Disclosure. But the rest are an absolute mystery to me!
Years and years did "King" if anybody recognises them from that. Skylar Grey I recognise from a DR Dre song. Bastille and Beck are recognised, the rest though, no idea
Sam smith is well known right? He was the guy that did the 3 songs for the hobbit movies and is going to do the intro theme for james bond spectre? Or am I confused?

@darkswabber yeah i know sam smith, wasnt looking at thr featuring at the end of the sing title. Was only looking at the artists. Heard of john newman too having read it again

I've heard of the yeah yeah yeahs. Thas about it.
The Wipeout 2097 and Wip3out licensed soundtracks were the shizzle. But Fifa have as habit of getting obscure catchy tracks. FIFA world cup 2010 south Africa had the best tracks of them all.
