Nicely designed anthropomorphic characters, airships, role-playing game elements, and player choice combine to make Stories: The Hidden Path seem like a pretty intriguing PlayStation 4 title. It doesn't have a release window just yet, but with any luck, the game's first trailer will grab your interest.
To be fair, the video doesn't show much, but we are liking the sounds of the premise. As mentioned, player choice plays a big role, as the decisions that you make have a direct effect on the story. Speaking of which, you play as a rather daring looking hero called Reynardo, who is, of course, the only one who can stop an encroaching evil empire.
How does it sound to you? Take a peek at the brief gameplay that we've embedded, and let us know if you're ready to take to the skies in the comments section below.

This looks pretty cool!
...I'm kinda excited about this. Crossing my fingers it's not turn-based fighting because I am NO GOOD at those. But the "your choices have real affects" idea sounds refreshing. Games kind of do that now, but to be built around that concept could produce something good. Art style looks cool also.
Looks cool. Just gotta wait and see if it delivers.
Looks cool, sounds awesome.
I love the idea that every decision changes the story, like Until Dawn. The art direction is lovely, the exuberant colors and the rabbit remind me of Alice in Wonderland.
Is this a PS4 exclusive?
@JMillsDezign Combat appears to be real-time.
Btw, Zombie Vikings looks awesome.
hmm, could be fun.
Definitely on my radar now
Very interested
I'll have to see more first, but I am liking the design choice. For some reason the art in the picture reminded me of Sam & Max.
Looks interesting.
As Homer Simpson once said: sounds interesting.
