Destiny: The Taken King's new teaser trailer finally reveals what Nolan North sounds like as he assumes the role of your Ghost companion, and to be totally honest, it's not quite what we were expecting. The voice itself is quite high pitched and seems rather quirky, but we guess that suits a small floating robot quite well.
The video also gives us a brief look at one of the expansion's new Strikes along with a few of the fresh baddies that you'll be pumping lead into. You'll be able to get a better look tomorrow during Bungie's livestream.

I think it's fine. Dinklebot was a little too out of place, the way he acted and reacted to situations. Not a bad actor, he did his parts well; just don't think he was meant for that roll.

I'm looking forward to the new version of the line "oh, we slayed a gate lord" the most flat and hilariously monotone sentence in any game ever.

Sounds good. I gotta say I didn't mind the original at all though. Reminded me of the robot in Moon.
I wonder how many new story missions there are on the Dreadnaught - doesn't look like many according to the brief glimpse of that map. I wonder, then, if there are additional maps for the Dreadnaught or if that's everything..I suspect it's likely everything. Will there also be new story missions set on the original planets, then? Or will it be Phoebe and the Dreadnaught only, perhaps 5-6 new missions for each?
@kyleforrester87 Knowing Destiny, I would assume that the other missions that don't take place on the Dreadnaught will begin in old areas.

@kyleforrester87 also, reading the strike description in the trailer which was stop the cabal from blowing up the hive ship... WTF? Let them blow it up, geez.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi lol yeah same, I can only figure that the Cabal arnt fully clued up as to what they are doing and our Guardian knows something they don't, or something! Still sounds like it could be an interesting Strike. On a side note I'm waiting for all the Vex content they'll no doubt have planned for the future!
I prefer dinklage over north for the ghost part
I personally think dinkelage did the best he could with sub standard scripts ,I personally I liked his attempt but that's me
Another one here who liked Dinklage. Destiny had great overall sci-fi atmosphere - a kind of quiet elegance and that was something I really loved at the start of the game. Dinklage just fit really well so it's a shame he's not gonna be there anymore. But of course Nolan North is a terrific voice actor so my disappointment is nothing to do with his voice - just a shame that Bungie felt the need to tinker in a bit of a George Lucas-y way.
Love way people are pretty much like me million other things to fix make better before we start the George Lucas crap I will say this uncharted is awesome voices and perfect balance how north delivered but again wasn't a shit script sounds ordinary on this to me

He sounds very similar. Similar and better. Like Ghost got an upgrade in its programming.
