While we know that the PlayStation 4's crushing its console competition globally, the UK – along with the US – is typically touted as a region where things are a little closer. On the back of today's financial report, however, the platform holder has boasted that it's been on top for six months straight in Britain, meaning that its box remains unbeaten in 2015.
One of the reasons for its success can be attributed to Batman: Arkham Knight, which the Japanese giant deployed an exclusive gun metal machine alongside. The game, according to the platform holder, is now the fastest selling release of the year in the UK, beating the record previously held by CD Projekt Red's excellent role-playing title, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt.
"We are delighted with the success of both Batman: Arkham Knight, with its exclusive PS4 content, and the limited edition Batman PS4 bundle," a chuffed spokesperson told MCV. "It contributed significantly to the PS4 leading next-gen sales for the month of June – continuing our successful streak winning every month this year so far." Nothing stops this train, eh?

The One is a very likeable console and I love playing on it, but it just has to settle for being the 2nd console this gen I guess.

Microsoft are screwed. 25-50 year old gamers (with the most spendable cash) have gone. Sonys E3 was a who's who of games longterm gamers want. Xbox is a toy to be laughed at mwa haha my 100k gamerscore can rot In hell, trophies are better anyway hahaha. Nathan Drake is better than Master Chief anyway as he doesn't fart in his suit. Hahahaha.
Fart in his suit? That's definitely child's humour for child xbox gamers. Uncharted is far superior. The combat has far more agility with the melee, cover, run rolling and gunplay. Sony have always supported mature gamers and gamers of all ages. Xbox always focussed on the 8-12 year olds. There is nothing on xbox that has the mature story themes used in The Last Of Us. Mature gamers are well catered for on PS4.
