Without an early 2015 blockbuster release, Ubisoft's revenue has taken a hit this year. According to the publisher's latest financial report ending the 30th June, sales have declined by 73 per cent year-on-year.

Despite the drop, though, the PlayStation 4 has proven to be the popular choice when it comes to the French company's software. Sony's new-gen console accounted for a whopping 27 per cent of the publisher's revenue, which is more than double what last-gen platforms and the Xbox One managed.

With heavy hitting titles like Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Tom Clancy's The Division, and Rainbow Six: Siege all in the works, it's clear that Ubisoft's thinking big for the future - but will it be able to bounce back after crafting some particularly disappointing in recent times?
