After the servers buckled within just hours of release, the Street Fighter V beta has been taken offline by Capcom while it performs some extended maintenance. "We apologise for the ongoing issues that users have been experiencing with the SFV beta test," the publisher told Eurogamer in a statement. "In order to allow us to fix the issues as quickly as possible, we are going to initiate a period of extended maintenance, during which time the beta will be unavailable to all users."
In short, it could be hours yet before the brawler comes back online, but we're just glad that this is happening now rather than at launch - after all, isn't that what betas are for?

Working at the moment. Hopefully after work it will be all fixed.
Hilarious
I'm furious
But of course. You guys should know by now that getting games to work from the get go is hard work
Adding more embarrassment to the list after the Ultra Street Fighter 4 PS4 launch I see?
Are we really getting to the point where people are going to start moaning about a BETA not working?
@adf86 I was joking, I'm not on the beta. Would like to be, though.
ive got to say imo capcom is doing good with how they are handling all aspects of sfv so far. i think its awesome we are having problem NOW with the beta rather than later with the launch.
