Ever since the PlayStation Network came back online after going down a few hours ago, European players of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited have had trouble signing into the game. We've checked our own copy, and can confirm that we can't go on any adventures, either.
From what we gather, the issue isn't affecting everyone, but it's widespread enough for the title's official Twitter account to make a statement. "We're currently working with Sony on investigating and addressing the #ESOTU PlayStation®4 EU megaserver login issues," it wrote. Whatever the problem is, it certainly sounds like PSN's downtime had something to do with it.

It hit me too, I was logged out from ESO due to inactivity (coffee break) around 1am and haven't been able to login again. Logged in just fine to PSN though. Based in Wales.
I'll use this article to say...
I just can't make up mind if I want this game... I loved Skyrim but greatly prefer single player games. People just randomly jumping just to jump or trying to hit me just sucks me out of the experience.
Thanks for the information. It's a real pain this online only gaming. Really disappointed not to get playing tonight.
@Splat Comms are the immersion break for me as Area Chat usually defaults to on so I have to turn it off (people sneezing at 200db or having domestic disputes in my headset is an immersion breaker). Random jumping... don't see a lot of it, as for people trying to hit you it's quite common during battle as it's easy to mistake players for targets, kinda glad that friendly fire is off in PvE areas. If I'm not sure I'll usually watch a few YouTube gameplay videos, there are literally hundreds for them for PS4 now.
I just managed to login to the EUR server again! yay.
@FantasyMeister Hi fellow Welshman!
@FantasyMeister same here I'm in Wales also and still not working
@Splat I bought it as my friends were also buying it. It's okay. I really wanted it to be Skyrim, which it completely isn't. Has elements of it, but a lot of the time it annoys me to play. Some points to the game are better than Skyrim but a lot more are worse. I'm sure a lot of people are really enjoying it, but as I did, I wanted another Skyrim and am quite disappointed overall
@skullsniper Yeah, false alarm, USA server is working fine but getting lots of time outs now when trying to get into ESO EU servers, PSN seems ok though.
Anyone trying to get online on the eu servers and still having trouble try ps settings, ps network/acc settings, restore licences worked for me hope it does you too
@Splat It's not really like Skyrim at all, but the first 50-100 hours in game can be played Single Player without any PvP. You would obviously be in the world with others which can actually be beneficial if you are up against a tough enemy. I've also not seen anyone just doing stupid stuff for the sake of it....yet
