Oh Great, Both Prototypes Are Coming to PS4

Still a better value than Nordic Games just remastering Darksiders II by itself. Seriously, why the hell didn't they remaster Darksiders 1?!

I must admit I never played either Prototype game and can't see that changing anytime soon - especially not with the growing backlog and plethora of new releases I want.
Maybe 3 is in development and therefore the remastered double pack has 'some' justification.
I don't have an issue with remasters in general - its not like I am forced to buy. As E3 has shown, there are new games, new experiences etc to be had as well. I own a few myself and no doubt will buy a few over the next year - Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection being relatively high on my list... I also have a few remasters in my collection over the years too

This is... a weird choice.

While we've pretty much all spent the past 12 months or so ridiculing Sony for it's endless stream of PS4 remasters, now that we have Uncharted 4, Horizons, Dreams and TLG coming let them make all the remakes they want. PS3 certainly has had its share.

Remakes we're never really the problem, it was getting all the remakes but very few new exclusive games. Now that the new games are coming, shrug.

I like prototype so this is a welcome
Too many games thia year for ps4 so I can't keep up, my game time is so limited.

Those games were okay, I really enjoyed accusing random people of being mercer and watching the firefights ensue.

The will sell some copies because of the easy trophies.

Worst Remasters Ever.

Carries on like this we will get a hd release of fifa 10 and gran Turismo 2

Played both games but not sure why that would remaster tgem... They werent that good!

Brilliant. The first game was a joy to play , the second not so much,but still really good. If they release it at a reasonable price and obviously give the graphics a seeing to then they could be onto a winner

Think this a little harsh as I wouldn't say either was a bad game. But I would have thought anyone who wanted to play these two would have done so already.

I don't get why this is so negative. The Prototype games were very good. Radical was the best at making you feel powerful and destructive. They also made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.

Prototype always felt better to me than inFamous, because I felt more like I was a force to be reckoned with. I could rip through an army with my powers, whereas with inFamous, a small gang could be a real threat.

Plus, inFamous always felt like a third-person shooter with some added fun here and there, since your main method of attack was a simple hand-blast, where as the main method of combat in Prototype was slashing about with claws or a large blade.

Honestly, if the improvements are good enough, I'll probably pick it up.

Prototype games are awesome, so this is definitely good news for me. Looking forward to the remaster

Edit: Forgot to say. I thought the first Prototype game was much better than the first Infamous

I played one of them because it was free on plus. I think I wouldve really liked it when I was in the age of 14-16, mostly because of the gore and the open world thing which I really liked back then. Now, not so much..

If ever a game didn't warrant a remaster this is it, never played the second because the first was so dull. Quite fun at first until it becomes very repetitive, it didn't help that the city was so horribly dull as well. I think I'll pass on this

Never plaged these games but as I've said before this site loves to diss unpopular games, which is highly unfair. I haven't seen any news from evolve here and they have done a lot since release.
