Fallout 4 has been officially acknowledged after years upon years of speculation from the gaming community, but perhaps not in the way that we were expecting. The game is supposed to be revealed in just over an hour via this website, but it's shown up early at fallout4.com. Good old Internet, eh?
The site shows a suit of power armour, along with a suitably dusty locale. It's also adorned with the phrase 'welcome home'. Contrary to yesterday's rumours, there's no mention of any last-gen versions of the game, as the page only shows PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC game boxes. It also mentions that we'll see the title at E3, although we bet you saw that one coming a mile off.

@ShogunRok At least with there being no cross-gen release, your hype wont be killed off. BUT. It looks like their last gen engine spruced up from the numerous screengrabs doing the rounds, So I guess your off into orbit soon?
@themcnoisy Really? This has actually been my favourite generation since the PS1 era. Current gen consoles are what I expected the last ones to be. Looking forward to the trailer...
Can't say the 'trailer' was that impressive. Maybe when the game play is revealed at E3, it will be more inspiring.
@kyleforrester87 I meant with the releases and vids, I like this gen too. Just wish I was 18 again with more time on my hands. Maybe its a sign of the times with games being big business the way they are introduced is a bit odd these days.

Doesn't look that much different from Fallout 3 to be honest. Looks like the cities will be bigger and hopefully they'll use something other than the beige & brown colour palettes this time
