E3 2015: Scratch Metal Gear Rising 2 Off Your Wishlist

Metal Gear Rising 2 won't be shown at this year's E3, sadly. Platinum Games – who already appears to have its work cut out with the exciting Transformers: Devastation – was linked with a spin-off sequel earlier in the year, but that was before all of this Konami craziness kicked off. Senior producer Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi has ruled out the title on Twitter, however – at least for now.

Asked whether the game would put in an appearance at some point next week, he flat out said no. He did quickly clarify that the title could still happen in the future, though: "I can't tell future plan," he said. Given how strange the publisher has been acting of late, we wouldn't count on this release ever getting made. The response to that "tease" earlier in the year showed that there is a market for it, mind.
