Tangled in friendship.

After scaring all of Square Enix's E3 2015 conference viewers by showing a Kingdom Hearts mobile game at first, the Japanese publisher relieved everyone's fears by following this up with the most anticipated title of the show: Kingdom Hearts III. Thankfully, not only did we get a cutscene with a young Xenanhort and (perhaps) Master Eraqus talking about the nature of light and darkness, but also a deeply satisfying preview of how the franchise is evolving its gameplay for the PlayStation 4.

We see our familiar trio of Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting off a host of Heartless foes in the world of Disney's Tangled, which is a fitting, much-appreciated addition to the locations that we'll be able to explore. Throughout the footage, we get to see the three characters team up together to perform special attacks, Sora transforming his Keyblade into various weapons to finish off groups of enemies, and more. The game's also simply stunning to look at in motion; with its vibrant, colourful art style you can't help but be taken aback by.

While there is still no general release date for this trilogy closer, it's great to see that development is moving along nicely. What did you like most in this trailer?
