Let's be honest, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's free DLC hasn't been worth shouting about β but it has kept CD Projekt Red's role-playing game in the news cycle every week. And we're going to play right into the Polish developer's hands by reminding you that there's a new batch of complimentary content available now on the European and North American PlayStation Store.
Up for grabs this week is the Skellige Armour Set for Geralt and his mount Roach, as well as a fresh contract: Skellige's Most Wanted. It's also worth pointing out that Triss' alternate outfit is finally available in the Old World, so give that a hearty download if you desire, too. We're nearing the end of the developer's free content drops now β but two big expansion packs are also on the way.

The expansion packs are supposed to add 30 hours of game play... That's like a whole other game and how you do a season pass right.
SO the expansion that can be purchased on the store now - is that effectively the season pass to get access to the expansions due to be released later in the year?
@RawShark I believe so, yes.
@RawShark -Yes.
Trouble is, the upcoming Witcher dlc will release around October and there's alot of big games due out between now and then. Fallout 4 comes out on November 10th and that will have my full attention. Im even going to have to put off the next installment of Tomb Raider which also releases on November 10th. Too many top games coming out so close together.
Whilst the 'free' DLC has been nice, I can't help feel that some of it was already in the game prior. The Wolf Treasure hunt seems the most obvious exclusion - after all Geralt is a Wolf and the way these are set up looks like they were in the game before. The quests too. Its less obvious with the skins and armour/crossbow sets as well as the gwent cards - in truth though I haven't bothered with the armour/crossbows or the gwent cards.
I am very interested in the upcoming expansions although at the moment I am playing Arkham Knight after beating the Witcher 3 (all witcher contracts, 95% of story side quests (not the gwent, races or fist fights) and on Blood and Broken Bones difficulty. Most of Skellige ?'s left are at sea and as I am struggling with weight, I don't know if I can be bothered to hunt down all the smuggler caches. Cash is not a problem either! I really don't want to sell all my Trophies and have both Cat and Griffin armour sets - the bear is too heavy...
@BAMozzy - I can't believe the game doesn't have a loot box for things you want to keep but not carry.
@Splat I understand why due to the Nomadic nature of a Witcher but think you should have a room or something at Kaer Morhen to put at least your completed armour sets and trophies into....
@BAMozzy In the first game you could store stuff with Innkeepers which would make even more sense on the Witcher 3 as it's much easier to travel to these locations.
@BAMozzy I suspect you're correct especially with the quests been voice acted, I'm certain they're not recording this stuff every week. Also the gwent cards aren't even a new deck but alternative pictures for some of those we have already. It's good PR for them but by and large the armour has been largely useless and the Wolf gear should have already been in there, though I do like the alternative Yennefer look.
Just please give me some storage for armour and weapons it's difficult carrying around witcher gear that I'm not using but have to keep for when I get the upgrades.
I feel the same way about the dragon age DLC as the witcher future DLC, not sure I'll be bothered to go back regardless of how much I love the game.
I'm still in Act 1 of this game, but I honestly feel like this is the best open world rpgish game since Skyrim. I'm really selective with how I spend my money and I was hoping not to drop $60 on this but I gave in...and I'm really glad I did. Haven't messed with much of the free DLC, but I did give Geralt a hair cut.
how do you access it once downloaded? I've gotten all the previous ones and haven't noticed anything new in my inventory or card deck.
@carlos82 Hmm, you may be right but it could be less ominous.
In the (witcher) sense that maybe they released the game whilst still creating the extras.
I dont know but that could be why they are voice acted etc.
@feral1975 You have to buy most of it bar the alt looks.
You need to buy the Wolf School armour maps.
