Destiny's House of Wolves DLC throws quite a few bits and pieces into the sci-fi shooter mix, and if you haven't been keeping up to date with what's being added, then we'd suggest taking a peek at the trailer that we've embedded.
At just over five minutes long, Bungie details the new activities that you'll be able to take part in, and briefly looks over the included story missions. Apparently, House of Wolves' plot will be "compelling". Do you believe? Strike down the Speaker in the comments section below.

I hope they can tell a good story with this expansion. I feel like that's what this game lacks the most.
It would be nice but I wouldn't count on necessarily being told a good story but I think the elements exist for certain elements of a story to be interpreted in much the same way as the game does so far. The missions are designed around re-playability as per usual so I expect them to be fairly basic in terms of plot. As I have said before I just wish they'd put some of the lore into the actual game, even if it's just as readable text files.
By the way, he says all legendary armor and weapons can be brought up to level 34, which suggest it's not just Raid gear like we thought before.
Yeah sorry I meant I was keeping the VOG glass gear I had but yeah it seems all legendary/exotics can be ascended
@Wesker They made that for grinding purpose. So you need to level up everything all over again.
@Gemuarto Really? I don't know about the legendarys, but I'm sure they said exotics wouldn't reset with an upgrade, like they did for the last expansion. So I guess it's the same for legendarys.
@Wesker I mean, you will grind to update all your armor and weapons to lv 34. They will not update automatically =).
@Gemuarto Haha! I should hope so. Watching progress bars fill up is Destiny's main narrative hook.
Out of interest how many exotic weapons are you guys missing? I need just monte carlo and patience and time.
Before unlocking for ascendment I think you need a certain material which in itself could be hard to get, before you can actually start to level up the gear. I think that's how it is going to work, anyway.
@Wesker I don't know. I think if I've upgraded my weapon to max once, it should stay upgraded forever.
Also I hate that they didn't upgrade vault space in Dark Below and made me delete some gear from venus raid. And now they are telling that I can upgrade it. I think Bungie is bunch of morons =)
@Davros79 I had all exotics when I stopped playing Destiny about three month ago.
I have 3 exotics weapons. I'm pacing myself.
3 here too, actually lol
Patience and time - hmmm, ive got kids and a job. And a blue scout rifle still
@themcnoisy get one off the vanguard vendor in the hanger.. Won't take long
@themcnoisy The random number generator hasn't been too kind to you. As Wiggy says, take 150 Vanguard marks and a Vanguard commendation to the vendor in the hanger and buy yourself a legendary scout rifle.
Yup working towards a commendation most if the way through level 2 vanguard. But yup will get one at the vendor.
I gave up on this game a long time ago, wish there was a good story to go along with it. I'm forever alone so multiplayer games are far down on the list of priorities for me. I love a good single player experience.
@Scorpio73 I found the story for you: https://www.bungie.net/en/Grimoire/ Hope you like reading.
Ive got patience and time and a new pulse rifle. Cant wait for this. Gonna. Have a close range set up and a long range one too. Bout time I'm fed up of getting smacked down with my shotgun. Game on people.
@themcnoisy I love the sniper rifle i've got but patience and time looks great, especially the cloaking while aiming down sights - magic! Might be a good idea to get hold of an armour piece that lets you carry more sniper ammo or something. Not sure about the pulse rifle though, might be better to get a legendary auto/scout from the vanguard vendor.
