Mortal Kombat X PS4 PlayStation 4 Store Charts

It looks like plenty of PlayStation 4 users in both North America and Europe were screaming get over here at Mortal Kombat X last month, as NetherRealm Studios' beat-'em-up has topped the April 2015 PlayStation Store charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Warner Bros' fighter finished first in both territories, though there were some deviations down the list.

Shovel Knight, for example, fared favourably in the United States, topping the PlayStation Vita list and finishing fifth on Sony's new-gen system. However, it failed to make the home console top twenty in Europe, and only just scraped a place on the platform holder's handheld, burrowing down into seventh position.

Meanwhile, FIFA 15 ruled the roost on the PlayStation 3 in the Old World, while it was Grand Theft Auto V that topped across the pond. Europe's fascination with Crash Bandicoot continued on the PlayStation Classics list, with all of Naughty Dog instalments occupying the top four slots. Overseas, however, only the inaugural entry could squeeze into tenth position.
