"Use this to pick your nose, mate"

Yeah, yeah – it's another PlayStation 4 remaster. If you haven't played God of War III before, though, it really does deserve your attention; the conclusion to Kratos' god slaughtering story really is the most violent so far. And that much is evident in this 1080p, 60 frames-per-second trailer, as we see Sony Santa Monica's bald-headed brute butchering the ugly overlord of the underworld, Hades.

The platform holder's opening pre-orders for the release this week, and promising a free dynamic theme for anyone who registers an interest. While it seems that you'll have to wait until launch day to download that in Europe, however, those of you that purchase the game from the PlayStation Network in North America will get the animated backdrop from 26th May, along with two free 90-day PlayStation Now trials for God of War I and II.

Remember, this PlayStation 3 re-release has been touched-up across the board – and also comes with a brand new Photo Mode, allowing you to capture some snazzy screenshots of Olympus gone wrong.
