You might have noticed that the denizens of Push Square Towers enjoy a good – or, indeed, terrible – pun from time to time. It is therefore with great excitement that we report that the Darksiders II remaster for PlayStation 4 which leaked on Amazon many moons ago will officially be going by the monstrous moniker Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition.
What's more, the re-release's furiously fetching box art has also been revealed. Very little is known about the title's release date, but we suspect that the ever approaching E3 may reveal more details. Would you be willing to take a second stab at Darksiders II? Have you guys perhaps ever asked Nordic if they plan on releasing number 1 also?
They might be testing the waters with Darksiders 2 before re-doing Darksiders 1?
To be honest, I am a sucker for the Darksiders franchise, I love that stuff. I imagine Darksiders II will be 60fps / 1080p and with all DLC? Hmm maybe they should have included the first Darksiders as well

Though I do 2nd all the "why make 2 and not a bundle w/ 1?" posts. I guess for the same reason GoW3 got remastered but not 1, 2, or the latest game 4. Or the 2 PSP games w/ were already remastered into HD.

Depending on the price, I'm likely to get it.
I see I'm not missing out on much by holding on to my PS3 and not upgrading.

Well maybe not for most, but for me, I'm actually looking forward to this because the Wii U version had horrible screen tearing and vertical sync issues.
It's just a shame they didn't include the first game with it.
bought Darksiders 2 on PS3 but never play it... might as well just play this on PS4...
@Ryno Certainly not, there hasn't really been enough sole PS4 games yet.
I'm fortunate in a way because I only got into gaming when the PS4 was out so I've not played any of these games being remastered.
