If you haven't been paying attention, you may not have noticed that we really liked The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt here at Push Square. And if its sales figures are anything to go by, everyone else did as well. Thankfully then, developer CD Projekt Red recently announced on its Facebook page that the open-world opus will be receiving two free DLC this week.
The first - a new quest titled 'Missing Miners' - tasks you with investigating the disappearance of several mine workers from a small Skellige village. The second gives you a fetching new skin for Yennefer.
The announcement post itself is frustratingly vague, so the exact release window for PlayStation 4 is yet to be confirmed. Have you been enjoying Geralt's latest jaunt? Are you a fan of free DLC? Go exploring in the comments section below.

I have been loving this game so much! I have already put like 20 hours into it and have just hit level 10.
This game just keeps getting better and better...
I played this a lot over the weekend and I must say I'm quite enjoying it. The performance is a real let down in places though, the bog in particular can become a real slide show. Hope the patch gives it a noticeable improvement. If not it's not a deal breaker so long as it doesn't get worse elsewhere. Bit of a shame though as its a beauty of a game.
I heard that they intended to release 2 pieces of DLC a week until all 16 were available. I am disappointed with the way the first 2 released as they can easily be missed and really didn't appear as DLC - more like any other in game option. The armour was sold by a Merchant and the 'hair/beard' styles by a barber - no different from any other items and could easily be missed.
It would be better - in my opinion - if there was some notice on an in-game notice board that said they were a gift from Kaer Mohen that could be picked up from certain places for nothing - at least the first time. In the case of the new quest and skin for Yennefer, they could still say they came from Kaer Mohen to keep the immersion.
@kyleforrester87 Totally agree. I've put over 30 hours in and it's one of the best games I've played...but the performance of it isn't as good as it should be. Fortunately, the actual game is solid and no game breaking bugs for me so far. Hopefully all the cosmetic annoyances will be patched pretty soon...and the loading screen times reduced.
@milero91 The loadings are a bit crazy but to be honest I can deal with that no problem, just would like them to squeeze out a few more frames somehow! It's hard to engage in tactical combat when it gets choppy so I'm not really inclined to play it on the higher difficulties as I feel I'm having to resort to mashing square a bit too much when it gets bad.
Hope we don't have these problems with Batman as it looks fantastic and the previous games ran really well..
"Witcher talkin bout Geralt" I literally laughed out loud when I saw that. Well played Kell.
These two DLCs already out now check PS Store guys
Will happily take whatever is given. This game is great. Agree about the performance - love it when I'm dodging and a tree that was once there vanishes into thin air - hopefully the patch will resolve some of this.
