After an eternity of delays, The Elder Scrolls Online is finally adventuring onto the PlayStation 4 on the 9th June, and, for what it's worth, it's looking like the massively multiplayer online role-playing game will feature some nice improvements by the time that it steps foot onto Sony's newest console.

Courtesy of a massive 20GB patch, the PC version of the title has been tweaked substantially, with many players going as far as to dub this the rebirth of the somewhat divisive release. The update adds the suitably named justice system, which brings law and order to Tamriel. This means that users can now steal and murder their way through the game, as well as sell stolen items to fences, and bribe officials to look the other way.

The real alterations, though, come in the form of skills and how they work. Not only can you spend champion points on powerful passive abilities, but the title as a whole has been rebalanced rather dramatically. Weapons, armour, damage modifiers, and statistics across the board have been tweaked, with the developer going as far as to reset everyone's skill and attribute points.

On top of all this, the patch fixes countless bugs, improves numerous animations, and puts an end to a list of audio issues. You can read the gigantic patch notes through here.

Are you looking forward to journeying through Tamriel again, or are you hesitant? Let us know who you're allied with in the comments section below.
