Those of you eager to show off your zombie zapping skills may be thrilled to learn that Resident Evil: Revelations 2's online Raid Mode will finally launch later this month. Capcom told Eurogamer.net that the feature will be patched in on 31st March, concluding a baffling release schedule for the surprisingly good survival horror shooter.
The fourth and final episode is due to launch later this week on the PlayStation Network, with a Blu-ray release also set to shuffle onto store shelves. Currently you can play local co-op in split screen, but the online option will obviously prove a lot more convenient. Bizarre business model aside, we've been loving this title so far.

This is fun two player but, unless I'm missing something (?), a bit too easy, since it throws at you the same mobs with the same stats as it does when playing solo. We just find ourselves breezing through the missions.
I haven't played through to the real hard difficulties yet though so maybe that changes, but I'd expect it all to be manageable solo in which case the challenge is halved with 2.
@kyleforrester87 I haven't had a ton of time to play it, but I tried some of the really high difficulty missions (level 40-45) and they were WAY too hard solo. Unless I play coop with my girlfriend, I simply didn't have enough ammo or would quickly get surrounded/cornered by some of the later enemy types. It felt more like the difficulty was designed for two players rather than one. Some of the daily missions are great examples where even with Hunk or Barry.. there's just not enough ammo.
@NathanUC Was your character at the correct level for the maps you were trying/you'd spent all your skill points properly, etc? I'm around level 30 and it can be a struggle completing level 30 solo maps alone but, almost running out of ammo, but it is possible with the right upgrades. On 2 player we can fly through.
Maybe you're supposed to play the really hard levels 2 player when you're under levelled, as you can't get the all the emblems unless you are at or below the requirement.
@kyleforrester87 Yeah, I main Wesker while my gf mains Claire. We didn't run into trouble at all until the level 40+ missions (we always sync down to the recommended level). I should also add though... we refuse to use herbs since we ONLY aim for 5 medal runs.
Our weapons are fairly decent, but gf refuses to use anything other than a shotgun pretty much. She'll bring a decent assault/magnum with her.. but rarely does she remember them until she's out of shotgun ammo.
@NathanUC Girls eh..?! Haha, okay, well I better keep pushing along with these raids, then.
Finally,
I'm tired of using share play to play with friends.
I main claire, lvl 100 already (damn those 95-100 were a stupid grind)
I hope my friends will be playing with me, after all I am a HUNK. ;D play on words ftw
@kyleforrester87 its supposed to be balanced when there are 2 players (i dont know how thou)
Hmm doesn't seem much different to me. Maybe the XP gains are split?
Looking forward to trying this once I complete the main campaign. I thought Raid Mode in Revelations 1 was actually better than any of the mercenaries stuff I ever played.
