That's a really creepy grin

Toukiden: Kiwami's launch date isn't far off now, and for those who aren't completely sure if the hack-and-slash slay-'em-up is for them, you'll be able to take the game for a test run later this month.

Publisher Koei Tecmo has confirmed that a playable demo of the release will be available a week before the full title hits store shelves, and it'll include two modes, each of which will cater to a different kind of player. The first is an introduction of sorts, which contains edit mode, where you can create your own warrior, and play through the game's first two missions. You'll also be able to try out Kiwami's three new weapon types.

The second mode is for more experienced players, as the demo will drop you into purposefully difficult missions, and by completing them, you'll earn rewards that can be transferred to the full release. Do you plan on buying the upcoming oni slaughtering sim, or will you be taking the demo for a spin? Lop off our limbs in the comments section below.
