Birmingham: the home of this bloody big bull thing

It's that time of the year where gaffer Ant Dickens begins to ponder/panic over just how Nintendo Life is going to better its previous year's presence at EGX 2015, which is set to run from 24th September to 27th September. That's right, tickets have gone on sale for Gamer Network's flagship UK gaming convention, and you can secure your entry through here. Disclaimer stuff: as you all know, we're associated with the aforementioned firm, so feel free to discredit any enthusiastic observations in this article. It's going to be really good, though – and not just because there's a revolver embedded into the back of our skull as we type.

This year, the event will be held in Birmingham, which is good news for this local author – and bad news for all 80,000 attendees that thought that they could get through their entire lives without having to set foot in the city. Bad accents are guaranteed, then, but there'll be hundreds of games to play, including – we assume – a sizeable presence from Sony itself. Could the anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief's End make the show floor? We'll have to wait and see.

Ticket prices will range from £17.50 for a single day all the way up to £60 for a four day Super Pass. We'll let you peruse the purchase options through here. Oh, and just in case you needed any more convincing, we'll be in attendance, rocking branded t-shirts and pretending to look important. Let us know if you'll be going to EGX 2015 and on which days in the comments section below.
