Light Blade

To say that Destiny's loot system can be a bit frustrating is an understatement. Whether you're blessed by the random number Gods or not, you're rarely ever guaranteed a nice new weapon or armour piece, and this has no doubt been a source of negativity for many Guardians since the game launched last year.

Fortunately, that's set to change in the near future, at least in the shooter's competitive Crucible. Indeed, the player-versus-player component perhaps has the worst random reward system of them all, as you can top the leaderboards only watch in horror as a player who joined the match during its final few seconds nabs a great bit of gear.

Posting on the developer's forums, the studio stated that "Crucible rewards are on the low side for sure, and issue we intend to address in a future update." Hopefully, this means that the mode will offer rewards more worthy of gunning down fellow Guardians, although having said that, we still reckon Bungie's got its work cut out for it after the title's latest update made a bit of a mess of the game's competitive balancing. The cycle continues.
