Yacht Club Games' critically acclaimed side-scroller Shovel Knight will tunnel to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita from 21st April in North America. The hugely successful title originally deployed on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U last year, but was announced for Sony's systems at PlayStation Experience in December. There's no word on a European date, but hopefully it won't be too far behind.
The release will comprise the finale of the Japanese giant's outrageous Spring Fever promotion, which is set to run for seven weeks starting from 3rd March. As such, if you pick up the cross-buy title before 27th April, you'll be able to take advantage of a 10 per cent PlayStation Plus discount, making the final price $13.49. Everyone else will have to pay $14.99. Will you be digging into this popular platformer on your favourite PlayStation machine? Turn the earth in the comments section below.

Great, my Vita is ready, I heard many good things about the game, could be awesome.
Meh.
@BLPs DON'T SAY THESE THINGS. (You're right, though, sadly. )
Counting down the days already.
This game is such 2D platforming bliss, the level design is astounding, and the best thing is that unlike so many indies, the game doesn't become lost in a gimmick.
For those who haven't bought it.....BUY IT!!
@BLPs So.....your mother is in.......... nevermind
I think I will buy this cause people wont shut up about how great it is and since they went through all the trouble of porting it I should oblige. I hope its cross save as well cause ill primarily play on PS4 but will want to continue on Vita at times.
@BLPs LOL Roger that. Yeah lets hope we don't end up with another Doa Last Round situation.
Finally! The developers sent me the games soundtrack but I didn't want to spoil it for myself before playing it on my Vita.
this game has PS+ written up all over it so I'll wait till is free
Meh, they'll just give to us on PS Plus.
