PlayStation Vita Sales

Technically, the PlayStation Vita reached toddler status over the weekend – but seeing as the folks at Sony have only just returned to the office, we'll forgive them this belated birthday gift. In order to celebrate the handheld's third anniversary in North America, the platform holder has prepared a bevy of free gifts and discounts for you to enjoy.

Alright, so the goodies aren't that great, but they include a free Toro Inoue theme, eight coins in free-to-play puzzler Fat Princess: Piece of Cake, and a bonus spirit in Destiny of Spirits – assuming that you've completed the title's tutorial by 25th February. However, it's the savings that are much better, so let's take a look at some of the highlights.

Well, the majority of these are stronger if you've got PlayStation Plus, and push prices down by up to 80 per cent. Examples include Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified for $10.00, the Jak & Daxter Collection for $8.10, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for $5.40. You can find the full list on the PlayStation Blog, so point your peepers through here.

Will you be giving your portable some love this week? The sale will go into effect alongside tomorrow's PlayStation Store update, so you've got plenty of time to polish up your wishlist – just don't forget to share it with us in the comments section below.
