DriveClub PS4 Japan DLC

With the servers finally running as smooth as a Swiss clock, Evolution Studios looks like it's getting ready to announce DriveClub's latest update. On its Facebook page, it's uploaded an image of a white sports car rushing down a road bordered by Cherry Blossom trees. Earlier in the year, it was rumoured that Japan would be one of the new locales added to the release – which just so happens to be famous for its pretty pink foliage.

Despite some disastrous launch issues, the PlayStation 4 exclusive racer has come into its own in recent weeks – largely due to the addition of the game's outstanding weather patch. The developer committed to a regular post-release content schedule prior to the core package's launch, which was extended after it was forced to giveaway the first DLC pack as an apology for the title's stalled start.

The best part about all of this is that according to that original itinerary, everyone that owns the game will be able to race on the new circuits for free. Like the weather patch, you'll need to purchase additional Tour Packs if you want specific single player content to beat, but we reckon that this is a fair deal.
