Killzone: Shadow Fall PS4

PlayStation Plus’ selection of "free" software has been underfire for a little while now, with subscribers dissatisfied with the roster of indie games making up each month’s PlayStation 4 lineup. However, the platform holder has already stressed that this will change starting in December, with superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us set to be given away as part of the Instant Game Collection.

Depending on your preferences, though, Japan is getting an even better game for Christmas: first-person shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall. The sequel will be flanked by strategy release Natural Doctrine, while the Monster Hunter-inspired God Eater 2 will be up for grabs on the PlayStation Vita. Not a bad little lineup, huh?

All three of these games will be available from 3rd December, and we reckon that this means that Guerrilla Games’ launch title will be a shoo-in for the West at some point in the New Year. To be honest, considering that the release has a heavily underappreciated multiplayer mode, we reckon that it would really benefit from the injection of fresh players.
