We all knew this was coming eventually, and with Assassin's Creed Unity not far off, publisher Ubisoft must have decided that today was the day to drop a seven minute trailer which encompasses just about all of the title's features.
From the city of Paris to co-op play, it's essentially all you need to know about the current-gen exclusive. We're not sure about the voice-over, but as far as informative videos go, it does a pretty great job. Of course, it's up to you whether or not you're agitated by its constant mention of 'new generation technology' and 'stunning realism', but what's on show here does look genuinely impressive for the most part.
Are you booking a trip to Paris later this month, or have you had your fill of stabbing nobles? Blend into the crowd in the comments section below.

Looks like the best creed yet, black flag brought it all back to life for me after the disappointment of AC3. Can't wait for this
only a week to go, cant bloody wait . tbh there was way too much to do in black flag. preferred ac2 and this looks like its similar
As usual, I want to wait for the reviews, but this looks like a simply fun game to play! Black Flag was awesome but it will be nice to go back to an all land AC game
I know 2 people who already own a copy and I get mixed feedback. The thing they did agree on was that it isn't the technical marvel Ubisoft claims it to be. Character models look really bland and the wrong places got a nice and detailed look to it, whereas important parts look randomly generated. That said, there might be some day 1 patches on their way.
Zzzz Zzzz Zzzz
I want to know how much of the previous plot you need to know. I only played the first 3 games and I loved the modern Abstergo side of the story (Post-Pope Prophecy?!). But I worry that I'll have missed to much after skipping so many.
I'm speechless. If I could marrie this game I would. Muahahaha!
I mostly want this due to the lack of naval battles... AC 4 was a major turnoff because of it to me This seems much more traditional. I only hope most of the major bugs are squashed on day 1, but it never usually does -_-
@GamerGorman20 You definitely can't skip any games in the AC series, so you'll have to play the other three games first before you can touch Unity.
I reckon this'll be the best one since AC2.
I liked Black Flag as a game but it felt to me like they tacked the franchise onto a pirate game and it didn't feel like a true AC title for me. This on the other hand looks perfect! (except for the dodgy time travel stuff)
@GamerGorman20 as to the modern day plot, you can still skip black flag if you desire. Modern day section was horrible and completely unrelated - ac3 has important modern day plot points though.
The only real dissapointing game in the series was Revelations. Ezio was a good character but not as great as folk seem to think, we just had more exploration of his character and by Rev, it was a bit boring.
I am one of the few that enjoyed 3, it looked spectacular and the fact it didnt conform to the standard story set in 1 and 2 it was thoroughly enjoyable.
This Im itching to try!!!
Looks good but that WW 2 levels look really crap,
