Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the best entry in Activision’s first-person franchise for some time, but players have reported some multiplayer connectivity mishaps since its launch last week. Fortunately, developer Sledgehammer Games is on the case, and is preparing a couple of PlayStation 4 patches which will hopefully iron out the flaws over the coming days.
While there are no patch notes available just yet, we were pushed v1.05 earlier today, which lists “bug fixes” in the title’s PS4 update history utility. Hopefully this – along with the second pledged patch – will go some way to stemming the online issues that people have been encountering of late. Let us know if you’re still having problems in the comments section, though.

I haven't had any connectivity issues at all. I've only spent 4-5 hrs online, but everything has been smooth sailing since I got the game. Is there a lot of people having issues?
Connectivity aside though, my campaign progress reverted to an older save once, and I lost about an hour or two.
Sometimes I play AW and I can do no wrong, other times it feels like ghosts again, constantly losing gun fights I should be winning.
I have only had extremely minor minor lag on a few matches. Best game match ups of any cod I've played. No sitting in lobbies waiting and waiting.
I've had no issues playing multiplayer by myself but when me and my partner split screen on hardcore kill confirmed it kicks us out of the match with an error code - Hope they fix this in the patch if not we will just crack on with exo-survival & team deathmatch
The improvements this patch will bring to enhance consumer experience are, block live stream, laugh off share play and reduce resolution and frame rate for parity party 2014.
I have had no issues since day one (Beat the campaign, and spent a few hours online/at lvl 27). However, I am happy to see them taking care of it quickly, since I have heard of people having issues.
i've dealt with ridiculous lag. i have great internet so the reason for this? it isn't all the time but its often enough to annoy
@Bad-MuthaAdebis
Ha, but that could be very very possible .....
Call of duty advanced warfare after playing it for a few hours its still the same crap dont know why people are enjoying it so much tbh - should just call it Call of duty double jump.
@Bridgeman agreed. I have good games here and there but mostly I get stomped 1/20 and can't explain it other than something is wrong with my game. I can be bad and I fully admit not all games are because of online connection issues, but when I lose 4+ games avg'ing 3/20 or less I really feel I'm not 100% to blame. I've playing COD since COD 3 and I know I'm not THAT bad.
@AD-80 I hear that noise, when u got a kill in cod 3 u know u deserved it, with AW it started so well, but the last few times I've played it I've been terrible, with fibre broadband too!!!
@Bridgeman just aim at the body, forget headshots
Eh i only noticed the menu screens lag sometimes but thats it. Haven't played online yet.
I've never really been a fan of Call of Duty since World at War but I've gotta say this Advanced Warfare is a breath of fresh air. Too long has the COD games gotted stale with the same old tried and tested mp. Even Battlefield has become a bit of a let down so Im finally happy to join the Multplayer arena once again with a game worthy of my time. Well done Sledgehammer!
I have had some crazy lagging, and one game actually crashed lol it doeant happen very often, though. I still have a lot of fun online.
Terrible multiplayer ! I normally love playing cod online , everyear since MW , but this new cod is really bad , traded it in today at CEX oh well GTA V soon
