Sadly, we don’t have Thanksgiving here in the UK – but while we haven’t copied the turkey dinner just yet, Black Friday fever has very much taken hold on these shores over the past five or so years. Amazon.co.uk is a particular advocate of the heavily advertised initiative, running Lightning Deals all week for a variety of different products.
To be fair, the gaming offers have been pretty poor so far, but this foggy Thursday’s faring a little better. PES 2015: Pro Evolution Soccer is set to go on sale from 18:30PM GMT, while Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will be anchoring down from 21:30PM GMT. In addition to these two, there are also various Bluetooth headsets and earphones set to be discounted throughout the afternoon.
There’s still no sign of any PlayStation hardware savings, though. We thought for sure that there’d be some PlayStation 3 or Vita bundles, but nothing yet. Let’s hope that the online retailer has saved the best until last, huh?

Hmm, I haven't really gotten into AC over the years, but I do have AC4 for WiiU ordered on Amazon, just outta stock at the moment.
Would this one be worth my time?
So far the PS4 deals have been sh*t :-/ What a joke this Black Friday is in the UK(it's not even a UK thing but UK shops seem desperate as usual to jump on the bandwagon)
@readyletsgo Here's our review: https://www.pushsquare.com/reviews/ps3/assassins_creed_rogue
Black Flag's probably the better choice, but this is still a lot of fun.
@get2sammyb thanks, I had a quick read through of the review. Yeah I'll wait for AC4 to arrive first.
The sale price would have been nice.

I'm surprised by this. There have been loads of X1 bundles which have rocketed the console above PS4 in the best seller list. I hope Sony don't get complacent off their success again...
@Dodoo @get2sammyb Who really wants a PS3 now who doesn't/hasn't had one? Hardly anyone, so no surprise it's not been in the sales. Vita? Needs games people want - lots of people not just us dedicated handful - to be worthy of making a loss to get the appropriate money eventually back through game sales.
It dropped to £25, but was gone in no time at all.
