Don't forget to grab some DoriDew, too

Sony has been allowing you to pre-load digital purchases from the PlayStation Store for a little while now, but we suppose that very few games are bigger than Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. As such, the platform holder has taken to the PlayStation Blog to confirm that you can start downloading Activision’s forthcoming first-person shooter right now on the PlayStation 4 in North America.

The download will begin automatically if you have ‘auto-download’ enabled in your system settings, but you can force the file to start copying to your hard drive by navigating to the appropriate page on the PlayStation Store and manually selecting the download button. The game will be available to play from 12:00AM ET on 3rd November, as part of the title’s Day Zero promotion.

Don’t worry if you’ve purchased the PlayStation 3 version, as you’ll be able to grab that from 10:30AM PT on 1st November from the PlayStation Store as well. All in all, you should be ready to go prior to the title’s first full day of Double XP. Oh, and don’t forget that if you buy this digitally, it’s fully cross-buy compatible, so you’ll be able to play it on both your PS4 and PS3. Pretty unprecedented, huh?
