Uncharted PS4 PlayStation 4

At this point, it’s probably fairly safe to assume that there will be an Uncharted Collection on the PlayStation 4. Sony has said that it doesn’t want to flood the market with re-releases, but does want to provide people that didn’t own a PlayStation 3 with an opportunity to play some of the previous generation’s best games – and very few titles are more important than Nathan Drake’s trio of escapades.

As such, it’s more a question of when these will arrive, rather than if. And, while it’s still yet to acknowledge the inevitable next-gen bundle, it has dropped the biggest hint yet that a remaster is imminent, by including the unannounced game in a PlayStation Blog post about the recently added YouTube app. The screenshot, which has since been removed, shows someone trimming a clip, which includes a still from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Now, it’s clear that this is a mock-up, because the dummy tags employed in the image actually reference Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception – but the platform holder’s seeming eagerness to drop the picture shortly after it was uploaded suggests that it may have let the cat out of the bag. Could the collection be announced at the PlayStation Experience event in December? Do you even want to play these games again? Think it through in the comments section below.
