It sounds like those of you that pre-order the episodic Resident Evil: Revelations 2 from the PlayStation Store for either the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 will score an additional treat in the form of some extra Raid maps. Those of you that played the original will be familiar with this mode, which sees you fighting your way through enemies in an arcade-esque shooting gallery.
Dubbed the ‘Throwback Pack’, the Sony exclusive (for now, at least) will include locations based on recent releases in Capcom’s survival horror series, leaving us hopeful for some kind of Resident Evil 4-inspired stage. Pre-orders for the series will start on 14th October on the PS4, with the PS3 set to follow at a later date. As for the first episode, that will deploy in early 2015.

Sounds good! Especially if it's, in fact, stages from RE4!
