If you constantly worry that the PlayStation Vita doesn't have enough survival horrors set on luxury cruise liners, never fear, as Project Scissors is set to fill that bizarrely specific niche you're inexplicably fixated on. Planned to launch in 2015, the team behind this portable game is utterly jam-packed with famous names. CEO Hifumi Kono directed the first two Clock Tower titles, while props director Masahiro Ito worked as a monster designer on a handful of Silent Hill games.
What's more, Takashi Shimizu – the twisted mind behind the terrifying Japanese film Ju-on, as well as its Western remake The Grudge – is set to act as the scare-'em-up's creative producer, and will also be making some live action trailers. In other words, this title is set to be utterly horrific, and thus this writer has his fingers firmly crossed in the hopes that he doesn't receive it as a review assignment.
What do you make of Project Scissors? Will you be withholding judgement until we get a bit more information? Cower in fear in the comments section below.

Sounds amazing.
If I had a vita I'd be excited. I intend to get the Playstation TV tho so I'd expect Id be able to play this on that? I love survival horror games.
They had me at "Ju On" which scared me out of my pants, and all I ever wanted was watch some cute jap girls...
I hope it's good
But as far as I know, the same game is also for mobile so I am worried
@Munkyknuts
It's also coming to iOS and Android, so you're set if you have one of those.
@AVahne I do have iOS devices but I tend to stay away from mobile gaming. If I'm in the house I have my consoles and if I'm out I can't be running my battery down on games. Having said that I did get 'five nights at Freddie's' off the App Store the other day.
Seeing Resident Evil Revelations 2 didn't get mentioned for vita at TGS, I guess I can go with this!
I wouldn't want to play horror game on a handheld. I might drop my Vita out of panic.
