As the one and only Christina Aguilera used to sing, you’re going to get dirty – but not until 2015. Farming Simulator 15 had been set to plough its way onto the PlayStation 4 this year, but it looks like developer Giants Software has postponed your annual roll in the hay. The title will instead crop up on the PC first, before eventually rooting down on Sony’s next-gen system in the New Year.
Also available on the PlayStation 3, the strangely addictive simulation will see a variety of new features added – including, for the first time, wood cutting. Yes, now you too will be able to brush aside beatniks in order to mangle some bark – and you’ll be able to do so in a new Nordic environment as well. Day one.

Damn it!
I had good money riding on this winning GOTY.
@ShogunRok There's always next time!
Im looking forward to your review of this, but not the game. That trailer had some nice happy whistling but I didnt notice any actual farming, I think this is for one of those gold digging reality shows. Maybe amish gold diggers?
I played an alpha build of this and can exclusively reveal a bit about the gameplay.
If you see a lovely field with a family having a picnic, and there's a nice pond in it, you fill in the pond with concrete, you plough the family into the field, you blow up the tree, and use the leaves to make a dress for your wife who's also your brother.
You make pigs smoke. You feed beef burgers to swans. You have big sheds, but nobody's allowed in. And in these sheds you have 20ft high chickens, and these chickens are scared because the don't know why they're so big, and they're going, "Oh why am I so massive?" and they're looking down at all the little chickens and they think they're in an aeroplane because all the other chickens are so small.
How will PS4 cope now?
Who buys these games and more accurately who buys these games on 3DS.
My life, it's ruined... This coming out this year was the only the giving me hope . (I apologize for the terrible joke)
@Jazzer94 I actually like them. Even the handheld ones (though they're overpriced).
@get2sammyb Maybe my 3DS demo experience didn't give it much of a chance, I'll keep a look out when a version goes dirt cheap on Steam.
I can't wait for this, going to have to score the PC version to tide me through until PS4 version releases!
I blame angry thugden for this !
