A few months ago, October was looking like this year's most bloated period for new releases, but a few big delays later, and November is beginning to look like 2014's real heavy hitter.
It may only be a relatively small delay of two weeks, but Ubisoft has saw fit to push back Assassin's Creed Unity all the same. The next-gen exclusive will now launch on the 13th November in Europe, and the 11th November in North America, with the French publisher citing further polish as the reason the game's been led back into the shadows.
Along with this news, it's also been confirmed that the release will be getting a day one patch, which will offer "even more improvements to Unity." Are you distraught over the delay, or are you quite happy to wait a little longer for your Parisian adventure? Lower your hood in the comments section below.

The fact they've openly said we're still "making improvements" for a Day 1 Patch makes me think this needs to be delayed more but they're still rushing it out.
Well that leaves more room for this

So friday the 13th for us in th UK then. Looks like my November birthday list is gonna get a little longer this year lol.
@N711 I've been really looking forward to Lords of the Fallen. I just hope it lives up to my expectations. Bound by Flame was another one I liked the look of but my friends have warned me off that game. Hope Lords of the Fallen doesn't go the same way.
@WARDIE Same but graphics look really way better as that s what made me get cold feet with Bound by flame
@WARDIE I actually enjoyed bound by flame quite a bit! Downloaded it digitally on my ps4 a while back I thought it was a really well made small budget rpg. The combat is quite fun.. voice acting isn't always spectacular but like I said it's a small budget game. In my opinion very worth the price though if you're a fan of rpgs!
@N711 Hell Yhea! Looking forward to playing Lords of the Fallen to. Really hope I get my tv soon.
I'm playing Bound by Flame to, and I really liked the combat and story. But like @mitcHELLspawn said the voices don't really match the chars most the time. ^^,
Oh!! And I don't mind this getting delayed at all. To many birthdays in October anyways.
So I will have to decided between playing Unity or Rogue ad launch... Guess I go with Unity for co-op but, would rather play with the penguins in AC Rogue
Yes, i can pick freedom wars with ease then
Honestly, I'm kind of happy that this game got delayed because there are so many freakin games coming out in Oct. that I just don't have room for at this moment. O.O
I still plan on picking up Rogue instead. I like the series but I don't like it enough to purchase two AC games on the same day.
They're not gonna pull "watch dogs" on us, are they?
@PoNY_LTD They might, now it's in the same timeframe as their own Far Cry 4, so one of them's gotta move.
I'm in no hurry to play this, since I don't plan on owning a PS4 until Christmas 2016 (plus I've only played the first AC game, despite owning almost all of them).
However, I am still saddened that it got delayed, even if it was just two weeks.
What's with all these delays from the third-party devs? It seems like they're trying to dance around Nintendo's releases.
...Hmm, but then again, Smash on the 3DS IS coming out in October, and since there are 44 million units out there...
