If you assumed that the PlayStation Network was safe following Sunday’s outage, then you were wrong, as it appears to have collapsed again. Lizard Squad, the group responsible for last week’s downtime, is claiming responsibility for another DDoS attack, which has already prompted an official comment from Sony’s European branch.

“We are currently experiencing minor network connectivity issues across PSN and SEN networks,” a spokesperson for the firm wrote. “We're looking into this, thanks for your patience.” Let’s hope that, unlike a couple of days ago, this doesn’t bring the network down all day again, as we’re not sure that we’ve recovered from the previous outage yet.

Update #1: A message from Sony on the latest outage: "Network connectivity is being restored to the rest of the network. Thanks for your patience again." Let us know if you're still having issues.
