One of the few highlights in EA Games’ dreadfully drab Gamescom 2014 press conference today – which should illustrate just how bad the showing was – is that FIFA 15 is getting a demo on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 ahead of its release next month. Why is this news? Well, because the upcoming Madden NFL 15 is not getting a pre-release taster, which many have attributed to the launch of the EA Access initiative.
There’s no word just yet on what the demo will include, but expect a couple of teams and a standard friendly match. The title itself has placed a big emphasis on goalkeepers this year, rewriting the way that they operate to add even more authenticity to the beautiful game. You can see that for yourself in the trailer embedded below, which features the voice of Jeff Stelling. You know that your game’s big league when Mr. Soccer Saturday himself puts in an appearance.
