Is this real life?

In arguably the most bizarre and brilliant headline to come out of Sony's Gamescom conference today, it has been uncovered that Hideo Kojima will be creating a new Silent Hill game for PlayStation 4. Ever the provocateur, Kojima couldn't simply announce the game during the presser, but instead had to sneakily reveal it afterwards.

Indeed, after a couple of hours of sleuthing it was unearthed that the 'interactive teaser' for P.T released on the PlayStation Store during the media briefing was a actually a demo for the new title. That's right, you can try out the luminary's latest creation, which is apparently titled Silent Hills, right this very second. And as if that wasn't enough to be excited about, critically acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro has also been revealed to be working on the project, as well as The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.

If you don't believe us – and really, who can blame you? – skip to about an hour and sixteen minutes into this Twitch stream. What do you make of this announcement? Are you excited to return to the world of Silent Hill? Get fired up in the comments section below.
