Mark Cerny.. from the dizzy heights of designing the PS4 to the depths of hell with Knack. Proves even a genius can make a mistake.
Actually, I think what Mark Cerny set for Knack is exactly what he wanted. I'm quite sure he knew it wouldn't be a ground breaking game and only a certain click of people would like it. That's what I like about Mark Cerny when he makes games. He makes what he wants to make and what he thinks some people may like. I could be wrong on this, but I don't think I am considering he would have made an FPS game by now. Since that isn't the case, he makes a game he wants to make.
I think if knack had come out a few years later and had a bit more polish it would have been okay, i just don't think it appeals to the current core base of system owners. I'd still like to try the game at some point.
