Earlier in the year, we hypothesised that SHAREfactory – the PlayStation 4’s onboard video editing suite – could become a bit of a cash cow for Sony; instead, the platform holder’s been updating it for free. And another major overhaul is due out this week in order to celebrate the release of The Last of Us Remastered, with new stickers, transitions, background images, intro, outro, and title clips for you to use.
Other more general improvements include the ability to import screenshots into your projects, as well as the incorporation of additional filter effects and some interface enhancements. “We are always trying to give you the players more fun tools to make your video projects that much better,” said software innovation honcho Scott McCarthy on the PlayStation Blog. I've found individual Photo modes to be more interesting than the Ps4's various integrated functions.
Agree photo needs to be standard for every major PS4 exclusive now...can you imagine The Order with this feature?!
I really like SHAREfactory & glad it's been supported although I wish they would hugely extend the length of a video your allowed to make cos I would like to make a TLOU super cut.
