PlayStation 4 port The Last of Us Remastered looms large on the horizon, and as such, developer Naughty Dog has been painfully drip feeding us information about the hotly anticipated re-release. With this in mind, the California-based studio recently released these new screenshots on the PlayStation Blog which show off several key moments in the game's masterful narrative.
From what we can glean, these images do actually portray the title as it will look in motion. With that said, we really would have preferred some actual gameplay. In the meantime, however, these pretty pictures will have to do. Yep, it's definitely time to get those idle thumbs of yours back to twiddling.
Are you excited to revisit the world of The Last of Us in this next-gen remaster, or was one trip through the valley of clickers more than enough? Sneak about in the comments section below.

"Alright kid, lets have another TLOU: R article, one last time..." - Sully.
I think this is a difficult one to convey with screenshots — the original game looked so good as it is. I reckon the improvements are really going to shine when you've got the controller in your hand.
@Punished_Boss Hahahahahaha! Guilty as charged
Looking forward to it, missed out last gen so was really pleased when this was announced.
Really! Do you have to keep teasing me? Isn't bad enough that i have to wait 13 more days!? xD
Okay I officially proclaim this TLOU week.
And I agree with you @get2sammyb though I can see it looks better I feel like the real difference will hit when seeing the game in motion when playing.
I can't really tell that much of a difference but the ps3 version looked amazing as it was. It'll be hard to improve on. I'm looking forward to the 60 fps though, it'll probably make aiming and panning the camera a lot smoother.
@get2sammyb Agreed. It will look stunning in motion.
I hate to ruin the party but that doesn't look too different guys.
