What on God's Earth is actually happening here?

Hohokum is the weirdest PlayStation game that we've seen in a long time. Luckily, it also happens to be one of the prettiest and most intriguing games as well. Combining LocoRoco-esque visuals with Noby Noby Boy-esque gameplay, the indie aims to relax rather than thrill, and we can't wait to get our hands on it. Thankfully, we won't be waiting too long, as the sleepy sim will be releasing on the PS4, PS3, and Vita on 12th August in North America and 13th August in Europe.

If you're still a little confused about what exactly the title is, take a gander at the video below which was recently released on the PlayStation Blog. In the clip, Honeyslug co-creator Ricky Haggett describes the experience of playing the game as akin to "exploring a world that doesn't explain itself". So, perhaps Hohokum is like Dark Souls? Maybe not.
