Due to the madness of E3 2014, we’ve missed a couple of issues of Out This Week. As such, we’ve opted to change the format a little in order to ensure that we’re on top of these in the future. We’re still going to declare a weekly ‘Pick of the Week’, but instead of gabbing on about globs of other games [Not sure if any of those are real words, but the alliteration works – Ed], we’re just going to give you a more straightforward list, along with a poll. Yes, it makes it easier for this flustered editor to put together, but it also should get you to the information that you crave quicker.
Pick of the Week - EA Sports UFC
This author knows as much about the so-called Ultimate Fighting Championship as he does stamp collecting, but at least in this instance we can fill the next couple of paragraphs with oodles of words about EA Sports UFC’s stunning visuals. Developed by much of the team behind the Fight Night franchise, this sweaty combat simulator is already shaping up to be one of the PlayStation 4’s very best looking games.
Those that have always dreamed about stepping into the octagon will find a meaty mixed martial arts experience here, though, as every fighter has been programmed to think and act like their real world counterpart. There’ll be no more fake movement either, as you’ll slip and slide around the ring like a real brawler, and your punches and kicks will actually sink into your opponent’s skin, thanks to a full-body deformation system. Fancy.

Depending on the Mortal Kombat X release I may have to pick up UFC fairly soon so as to cure that itch to smack up a fool.
Well at least starting July PS+ should make your editorial work a little easier, but don't forget the Tues/Wed store updates
I still need to start Sly Cooper, but trying to finish CoL first, and my 100cc cups.
UFC looks the part, but it's... UFC. I'm thinking the next 4 or 5 weeks will be a good time to start playing catch up on some games I missed. First on the list? Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Honestly there is nothing there that appeals. I tried the UFC demo, and cannot criticise the game, it looks like it is done well. Just not for me.
Battle Princess of Arcadias for me, I love a high production sidescroller. Though i already have that scratch itched with Dragons Crown, this is on my radar. I'm not sure it will be as good. No reviews exist on the net that i can find as of yet so i'm waitin for more opinions, but game play videos on youtube look sweet.
