Nathan to see here

Nolan North, the voice actor behind just about every video game protagonist ever – including Nathan Drake – has recently said that he believes Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be the last game in the popular series. Speaking with IGN, the smooth sounding star stated that he hopes the franchise stays in the right hands.

"If this is the last one indeed, and I believe it’s the last one – nothing’s confirmed, but I believe it’s the last one Naughty Dog wants to do," North said, "I hope that somebody else doesn’t pick up the mantle, because they’ve done it so well for so long." However, he was quick to assure us that the newest entry will definitely hold up the series' impressive pedigree. “I like the idea of going out on top, so we better do a hell of a job with this one," the actor continued. “And it’s already looking pretty good.”

While the idea of this being the last time we'll witness Nathan Drake's signature smirk is certainly bittersweet, we're equally as excited to see what developer Naughty Dog can come up with next, especially after its absolutely sublime recent effort The Last of Us.
