Looks promising

E3 is mere days away at this point, and judging by your comments, the hype train hasn't just left the station, it's been separated from the tracks and is currently jetting off into outer space. With that in mind, we regret to inform you that Media Molecule, the enormously talented studio behind LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, will not be showing off its PlayStation 4 game at the conference in Los Angeles this year.

"E3 is right around the corner, how exciting," the Guildford-based developer recently said on Twitter. "Sadly, we’re not showing anything this year, but we’re sending high-fives to everyone who is." All we've seen of the secretive project is that one slightly bizarre, but utterly charming, tech demo, which debuted at the super machine's reveal last year. What's more, affable executive Shuhei Yoshida described the title as "mind blowing" when he saw it last July.

In any case, the studio was quick to stress that it will be showing off something special in the near future. "We’ve got a whole lot of fun to show you later, though, and we simply cannot wait," it continued. "So hold on tight, it won’t be too much longer." We're doing our best, Media Molecule – we're doing our best.

Were you excited to see the creative team's new title at E3, or are you happy to wait? Let us know in the comments section below.
