It's all in your imagination – or is it?

In a first-person horror game where you play as a two-year-old child, Krillbite Studio's Among the Sleep has garnered a lot of coverage due to its unique premise and atmospherically-driven gameplay. It encapsulates the imaginary fears and feelings we experience as children, and is meant to make you powerless, which has you relying on hiding and scurrying away from any threats, much like in Amnesia: The Dark Descent or Outlast.

This bold vision was originally only intended for the PC, Mac, and Linux after its successful Kickstarter campaign, but in an announcement by Krillbite's head honcho Ole Andreas Jordet on the PlayStation Blog, it will now arrive on the PlayStation 4 as well.

In an exclusive Polygon interview back in March, the developer said that it wanted to bring the game to consoles. Also, since the title managed to reach its Kickstarter stretch goal for Oculus Rift support, Jordet confirmed that the release will feature Project Morpheus compatibility, which will make the adventure "among the first to explore PlayStation’s new virtual reality technology". Kickstarter backers will be able to change their platform of choice in the near future to the PS4 as well.
